IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, Western Region has invited applications for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. A total of 335 tentative apprenticeship seats are available across various disciplines.

The disciplines include Technician Apprentice in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics; Trade Apprentice in Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist; Graduate Apprentice; and Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher and Skill Certificate Holders).

Technician Apprentice candidates require a relevant 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Engineering. Trade Apprentice candidates require Matriculation with the prescribed 2-year ITI qualification. Graduate Apprentice candidates require a regular full-time BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA degree. Data Entry Operator candidates must satisfy the qualification prescribed in the notification.

The minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 24 years as on 30 September 2026, subject to applicable relaxation. The apprenticeship training period is 12 months. There is no written examination or interview. Selection will be based on merit prepared from marks secured in the prescribed qualifying examination, followed by document verification and pre-engagement medical fitness test.
