Job Description
Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat (IIIT Surat) has invited applications for 1 contractual post of Counsellor Psychologist under Advertisement No. IIITS/RNF/2026-27/03. The position is full-time for three days a week with a consolidated pay of ₹50,000 per month. Candidates may apply with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology/Counselling Psychology in First Class and 1 year relevant experience in an educational institution, or a Master's Degree in Psychology with 3 years relevant experience in an academic/medical institution, or a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field such as Social Work or Sociology with 5 years relevant experience in an academic/medical institution. The maximum age limit is 45 years. The appointment is for one year and may be extended based on satisfactory performance and institutional requirements. Selection will be through an in-person interview. The last date for receiving the online application is 20 October 2026.
