Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 18–26 years (GEN/EWS) as of 31 Dec 2025
- Relaxations: SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC-NCL +3 yrs, PwBD up to +10 yrs
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines OR B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
- Fire & Safety: 10+2 + Sub-Officers’ Course + Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence
- Note: Only full-time regular courses are valid. Higher professional degrees (BE/B.Tech/MBA/CA/CS/CMA/LLB/MCA/PhD) are not eligible.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Sections: Subject Knowledge (75), Numerical Ability (15), General Awareness (10)
- Qualifying Marks: 40% (GEN/EWS/OBC), 35% (SC/ST/PwBD reserved)
- Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT):
- Qualifying in nature
- Fire & Safety candidates must meet physical standards before SPPT
- Final Merit: Based on CBT performance (SPPT qualifying only).
